                <description>The Peter Kiewit Foundation is sponsoring a group of 400 youngsters, ages 8 to 12, on Thursday, September 27, to attend the Pro Rodeo Challenge at the Qwest Center Arena.  Children from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Omaha, Girls Inc., and Camp Fire Boys and Girls are participating in this excursion.  They will be accompanied by adult personnel from each organization.<br /></description>

				<title>Peter Kiewit Foundation Legacy Scholarship Program</title>

                <description><p class="badgeCopy">&nbsp;Application materials for Peter Kiewit Foundation Legacy Scholarships for high school seniors are now available through every high school guidance office in Nebraska.  This scholarship program provides financial assistance to eligible students to pursue a college education.  It is the only scholarship program offered by the Foundation.</p></description>

				<title>Small Grants Program Renewal</title>

                <description><div style="text-align: left;">The Peter Kiewit Foundation announced today the renewal of a small grants program to fund neighborhood projects and initiatives in Omaha.  Grants will have a maximum possible value of $10,000.  Application materials are available now from the Foundation.  The deadline to submit applications is February 1, 2008.  Awards will be announced by March 3, 2008.  Projects that receive these grants must be completed by September 15, 2008.</div></description>

				<title>Legacy Scholarship Program Winners Announced</title>

                <description>The Peter Kiewit Foundation in Omaha has announced the 50 recipients of its Peter Kiewit Legacy Scholarship Program Awards for 2008. The winners were chosen from more than 600 high school seniors throughout Nebraska who applied for the scholarship. Each student will receive a four-year scholarship worth $30,000. The scholarship provides $7,500 per year and is renewable for up to four consecutive years of study at a regionally accredited public or private four-year college in Nebraska.<br type="_moz" /></description>

                <description>Omaha&rsquo;s newest and largest public art project in history is beginning to emerge downtown. The Trustees of the Peter Kiewit Foundation, in partnership with the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts and Energy Systems Inc., announce this unique collaboration that is creating a 22,000 square foot outdoor mural on the east exterior wall of the Energy Systems plant on North 13th Street between Cass and Webster Streets.</description>
