Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees meets quarterly to consider funding requests and conduct all other business. Mr. Kiewit provided that five individual Trustees would serve on the Foundation board and oversee its operations. The chairmanship rotates annually among the Board members. Mr. Kiewit also designated the Omaha National Bank (now US Bank) to serve as the Corporate Trustee.

The Executive Director, Lyn Wallin Ziegenbein, manages the daily operations of the Foundation.
The Peter Kiewit Foundation is a private independent philanthropic trust created from the personal estate of Peter Kiewit. It is not affiliated legally or administratively with the operating companies which also bear Mr. Kiewit’s name.
